Garbage Collection Affected by Thanksgiving

(November 24, 2014) - Residential garbage collection within the City will be a day late for all City residents whose trash is normally collected on Thursday or Friday, due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday. The pickup schedule will return to normal on Monday, December 1st.

City of Youngstown Announces Low Fixed Rate for Natural Gas Program

(September 9, 2014) - Youngstown officials are pleased to announce that they have established a low 24-month fixed rate of $4.315 per Mcf for natural gas for members of the City's Natural Gas Program. The new rate will run through the October 2016 billing cycle. Residents and small commercial customers can expect a letter from IGS Energy to arrive on or about September 22. The letter will explain the low fixed rate, and terms and conditions of the offer. IGS Energy recently won a competitive bid and will continue as the supplier to the City’s Program.
