Phelps Street location. Improvements consist of demolition and replacement of existing façade; installation of sectional doors, relocation of front entry door, installation of exterior ceramic tile and trim, and installation of new window sills. The City will assist by reimbursing 40% of the improvement costs. The company intends to create 42 new jobs within three years. Warriors, Inc. recently entered into a Façade Renovation Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of $99,867.00 for exterior improvements to the 2733 Market Street location. The City will assist by reimbursing 40% of the improvement costs. Warriors Inc. estimates completion of the project by the end of Summer of 2013.

West Side Bowling Alleys, Inc.

West Side Bowling Alleys, Inc. recently entered into a Façade Renovation Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of $52,468.00 for exterior improvements to the 2230 Mahoning Avenue location. The City will assist by reimbursing 40% of the improvement costs. The estimated date of completion is Fall of 2013.

Hudson Fasteners, Inc.

Hudson Fasteners, Inc. recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing an investment of approximately $256,217 toward the expansion of their business located at 241 W. Federal Street within the Youngstown Business Incubator. The City of Youngstown will assist the project by providing funds for the purchase of inventory, machinery, and equipment. The company plans to hire 5 new full time employees within three years. Anticipated completion date for the project is late summer 2013.

Precision Property Maintenance recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of approximately $115,260.00 toward the expansion of their business located at 3220 McCartney Road. The City of Youngstown will provide financial assistance toward the construction of a new greenhouse facility. The company plans to hire 2 new employees within two years. The City of Youngstown will provide financial assistance toward renovation costs at the 2405 Market Street location. The project will result in 30 full-time jobs within three years. Anticipated completion date for the project is spring of 2014.

Oak Hill Collaborative, Inc recently entered into a Façade Renovation Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of $50,640.00 for exterior improvements to the 507 Oak Hill location. The City will assist by reimbursing 40% of the improvement costs. Oak Hill Collaborative, Inc. estimates completion of the project by summer 2013.

FEIC Financial, Inc. recently entered into a Façade Renovation Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of $5,400.00 for exterior improvements to the 147 West Federal Street location. The City will assist by reimbursing 40% of the improvement costs. FEIC Financial, Inc. estimates completion of the project by summer of 2014.

Team Steel Fabricators, LLC recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of approximately $143,283.00 toward the expansion of their business. The City of Youngstown will provide a Youngstown Initiative Performance Grant to assist the company's expansion at the 1158 Hubbard Road location. The project will result in 9 full-time jobs within three years. Anticipated completion date for the project is spring of 2014.

Rayen Properties, LLC recently entered into a Façade Renovation Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of $57,451.00 for exterior improvements to the 1028 W. Rayen Avenue location. The City will assist by reimbursing 40% of the improvement costs. Rayen Properties, LLC estimates completion of the project by summer of 2014.

VB Companies, LLC dba Hot Head Burritos

VB Companies, LLC dba Hot Head Burritos recently entered into a Façade Renovation Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of $20,353.00 for exterior improvements to the 315 Elm Street location. The City will assist by reimbursing 40% of the improvement costs. The project will result in 20 new jobs over 3 years. VB Companies, LLC dba Hot Head Burritos estimates completion of the project by summer 2014.

American Farms Produce II, Inc.

American Farms Produce II, Inc. recently entered into a Façade Renovation Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of $16,000.00 for exterior improvements to the 87 Brooklyn Avenue location. The City will assist by reimbursing 40% of the improvement costs. American Farms Produce II, Inc. estimates completion of the project by summer 2014.

Dooney’s Downtown, LLC dba Warehouse 50

Dooney’s Downtown, LLC dba Warehouse 50 recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of approximately $112,561.00 toward the expansion of their business. The City of Youngstown will provide a Youngstown Initiative Performance Grant to assist the company’s expansion at the 50 W. Federal Street location. The project will result in 22 new jobs within three years. Anticipated completion date for the project is spring of 2014.

Mahoning Plaza Associates, LP

Mahoning Plaza Associates, LP recently entered into a Façade Renovation Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of $50,129.00 for improvements consisting of landscaping; replacement of storefront windows; and renovation of the parking areas at the retail plaza located at 3309 Mahoning Avenue. The City will assist by reimbursing 40% of the improvement costs. Mahoning Plaza Associates, LP estimates completion of the project by summer 2014.

SKA Limited, LLC of Nevada (wait for construction)

SKA Limited, LLC of Nevada recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing an investment of approximately $264,000 for a new upscale pub at 124 W. Federal Street. The City will assist the construction effort by providing funds through the Youngstown Initiative Program. SKA Limited, LLC plans to create 4 full-time jobs and 18 part-time jobs within three years. It is estimated that the project will be completed by Spring 2013.

Mahoning Valley Historical Society

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing an investment of approximately $3 million toward the renovation and opening of their museum and archive located at 325 W. Federal Street. The City of Youngstown will assist by providing funding to aid water and wastewater improvements needed at the site. Completion date for the project is estimated to be January, 2013.

Youngstown Business Incubator

The Youngstown Business Incubator recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing an investment of $1.2 million to expand and renovate its operations located at 241 W. Federal and 234 Boardman Streets. YBI anticipates housing a new federally funded initiative, The National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute. NAMII is designed to promote additive manufacturing technologies. The City will provide funding assistance to aid water and wastewater improvements needed at the site.

YBI also entered into a Façade Renovation Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to an investment of $53,615 in exterior façade improvements to the W. Boardman Street location. The City will assist by reimbursing 40% of the improvement costs.

The projects are expected to be completed by December 31, 2012. In addition to retaining the 300 existing employees, it is estimated that an additional 100 new full-time jobs will be created by 2015.

Iron City Wood Products, Inc.

Iron City Wood Products, Inc. recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to invest an estimated $900,000 to relocate their operations to the east side of Youngstown and renovate the existing building to construct a manufacturing/warehousing facility. The company intends to relocate 43 employees to the City of Youngstown and hire 14 new full-time jobs. The City of Youngstown will provide funding assistance to aid water and wastewater improvements needed at the site. Completion date for the project is estimated to be January, 2013.

Empyra.com, Inc.

Local software development and consulting company, Empyra.com, Inc., recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to invest an estimated $582,000 towards hiring and the expansion of its operations in the downtown business district. The company plans to hire 8 new full-time jobs. The City of Youngstown provided assistance through the Youngstown Initiative Program.

Green Haines Sgambati Co., LPA

Green Haines Sgambati Co., LPA recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to invest $115,000 to consolidate and relocate its existing Austintown and Wick Avenue offices to downtown Youngstown. The company intends to retain 17 Youngstown positions and relocate 15 employees to the City. The City of Youngstown provided funding assistance to aid the relocation and improvements to the site.

Kiraly Tool & Die, Inc.

Kiraly Tool & Die recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown to invest $12,720 in façade improvements to their Crescent Street facility. The company plans to hire 4 new full-time jobs over 3 years. The City of Youngstown will assist by reimbursing 40% of the façade improvement costs. Estimated date of completion for the project is mid-October 2012.

Taylor-Winfield Technologies, Inc.

Taylor-Winfield Technologies, Inc. recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to relocate 37 employees to its Youngstown facility and invest approximately $2,000,000 to construct a new 16,000 sq. ft. office addition to the company’s manufacturing plant located in the Salt Springs Business Park. The City of Youngstown provided assistance through the Youngstown Initiative Program. Completion date for the project is estimated to be August, 2013.
