Noble Creature Cask House, LLC

Noble Creature Cask House, LLC recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to invest an estimated $123,000 to the project located at 126 W. Rayen Avenue. The company plans to convert the existing building into a Micro Brewery and create 6 new jobs within 3 years. Completion date for the project is estimated to be August 2017.

Anthony Cocca Family Foundation

The Anthony Cocca Family Foundation entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown to construct a community kitchen located at 551 Mahoning Avenue. The organization committed to invest an estimated $244,000 toward the construction of the facility. The project was completed in the Fall of 2016.

M. J. Joseph Development Corporation

M. J. Joseph Development Corporation recently announced the company’s plans to invest $20 million to build a beverage and technology complex in Youngtown that will produce the world’s first and only self-chilling beverage can. The project is estimated to create 257 new jobs for the city as well as provide a destination of interest, as the technology will be showcased globally. The Development Agreement for this project was finalized in October of 2016. The City of Youngstown will provide grant funding to aid this new project. Plans are to have production buildings complete by late summer 2017 and in full operation by 2018.

Youngstown Edison Incubator Corporation

Youngstown Edison Incubator recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to invest an estimated $5,100,000 required to acquire and renovate the building located at 252 W. Boardman Street. Improvements will establish a multi-tenant facility. The company plans to retain 12 positions and create 5 new jobs by December 2017. Completion date for the project is estimated to be March 2017.

Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA)

The Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to invest $3.5 million to create additional programming space, improvements to the overall appearance of the facility, and infrastructure improvements to the building located at 17 N. Champion Street. The organization intends to retain the 130 current positions within the YMCA. The project was completed December 2016.

Youngstown Stambaugh Hotel, LLC

Youngstown Stambaugh Hotel, LLC recently entered into a Development Agreement with the City of Youngstown committing to invest approximately $25,750,000 for historical renovation to the Stambaugh Building located in the Central Business District of downtown Youngstown. This historical building will be converted into a 134 room Doubletree Hotel. The project will create 25 new jobs within the first 12 months. Estimated completion date is estimated to be December 2017.
